My introduction video :-) 2012

"After much encouragement from my friend, John H., I put together a video introduction.  The video features many of my self-portraits from over the past view years.   Adobe Photoshop was used on some of the photos to make them photo- illustrations.  I hope you enjoy."-Tanya

Campus Martius the gathering place; Spotlighting the best of Detroit series

Tanya Britt is eyesonuphoto art
What a fun place to take photos.  In fact it is my favorite place to take photos of the locals.  I was introduced to Campus Martius by WSU Prof. Deborah Kingery.  She sent me to the location on a photo assignment and I have been in love with it ever since.

I love to take photos and there were lots to be taken on the day I ventured out to Kensington Park.  It was another beautiful day in Detroit and many took advantage of the fun and sun.

It's all about getting organized!

Tanya Britt eyesonuphoto art
I have a new website that I will dedicate to featuring artists, I have my Flickr page, I have a new twitter account, I have my examiner.com article, I have this blog and a Youtube Channel.
It's all about putting in the time to get organized.

Earlier this year I was basically suffering from exhaustion but now I have gotten my second wind. With this second wind I hope to get everything in sync and organized so it all flows and compliments each other.

I can't believe I haven't posted since January, but as I mentioned I was extremely burned out with higher education and other things demanding my time and energy. So here I am, now as of June 15th, and I have to start making things happen.  Wish me luck! ;-)

Eyesonuphotoart.com is still a work in progress.

I ask the question, "Do you think there is too much sex in advertising?"

I asked the question, "Do YOU Think There is TOO much Sex in Advertising". :-)

My most recent video documentary was filmed in HD with the Canon 7D SLR Video Camera and a H4N Zoom recorder.

The process was a lot more challenging then my first few videos which were done on film and then made digital.

Here is the 5 minute version.

and here is the 7 minute version.

"Let's Talk about Art 1 and 2" (long version)

Tanya Britt, eyesonuphoto
This post contains the longer version of Art Talk. My subjects had so much to share about art I did not want to waste any of the footage.

My editing improved in this version. :-)

Art Talk 1 (1 of 2 parts)

Art Talk 2 (2 of 2 parts)

"Let's Talk About Art" (short version)

I haven't really posted since June 19, 2011 so I will quickly play catch up.  I am a photography major with a  minor in media arts and my last post was on learning how to shoot video.  I was clueless!

Well, since then I have made some progress. Practice, and editing time makes a difference in mastering the art of  being a film making. Lol!

In this post I will share my video entitled "Art Talk". It was my final project in my intro to video course at Wayne State University.  I think it is a cool documentary; but then I made it!

I find I really enjoy the process of making movies. I have a short version and a (2 parts) long version... you decided how much time you want to spend in watching artists talk about their love of art!

In this posting I feature the short version. :-)

Happy New Year 2012!

Tanya Britt, eyesonuphoto art
A new year, a new beginning...and an opportunity to make new entries in my blog! :-)

This blog originated as a classroom assignment, but now I intend to make it more personal by showcasing my interest. I'm really excited to share my love of the ARTS...

and I can't wait to get started!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
